This is a nicely painted version of a figure I did for Lance and Laser, AND which is now available from Armorcast! The game it was for is Battledragons, by Spartacus games. Painted by Samson.

68 mm to the top of the head! Considering that this is a figure for 15 mm scale Sci Fi gaming, that makes it officially over the top.

Click on the link on my sidebar to go to Micropanzer, where Jason will tell you how and when you can get you hands on it.

Of the Sturmwulf repose I just finished. It also has a cyber-eye and robotic parts in its right hind leg.

Here is a shot [courtesy of my friend Rick] from the most recent session of the New Centurions – a game of BASH [Basic Action Super Heroes]. In addition to the use of the Bilious Acid Zone Effect [available from Armorcast] I used as the Teleportal [right at the top of the pic], you can see that I am using plastic shooter cups and shot glasses as force fields and flying bases. The advantage is that you can actually have a figure right under the cup, so a force field surrounds the user, or a flier can be right over another figure.

Here the New Centurions have fought their way through the Illithid dreadnaught and now fight the captain and his guards on the command deck, while freed prisoners engage soldiers elsewhere.

The four larger cups are the small burst force fields of illithids actually manning the controls. At the top of the shot a flier is on top of a shooter plastic glass. To her right, just in front of the shimmering green teleportal, the illithid captain has been imprisoned in a force field by one of the heroes.

Got it into my head that there are not enough cool elephant figures out there in 30 mm scale, so I sculpted one up last week. The idea is to get it cast up as is naked. Then dress up the the casts like a pachadermian Ken-doll with different wargear to reflect several different historical cultures. A blanket on its back and a chain around its neck for Colonial India, scale armour and a howdah for Alexandrian Successors, even going all out with lamellar armour, howdah, tiger skin caprison, tusk-blades and a mace strapped to its trunk for a Timurid monstrosity. I could also repose the individual elephants by changing the angle of the head or the position of the legs, etc.

If there is a miniatures company out there that would like to help with this project by giving this bad boy a home, send me an email and we can discuss it.
BTW, size-wise, the elephant is about 52 mm at its tallest point [the middle of the back]. So in 30 mm scale, that would make this guy a smidge over 10 feet tall, a good big Asian war elephant.

Sculpted this a while ago but never got around to posting it. It is pewter and draws its inspiratino from several period Thor’s Hammers. I have a small stock that I can sell. If you are interested, Email me at: baelor@baelor.com and I will sell you one for $10 + shipping.

These are pics of a helmet made for me by my friend Pedro Bedard [ who also owns and operate the FLGS Imagine Games, AND painted a bunch of the nicely painted figures on this site. We are both nuts about dark ages warfare, weapons and armour, and since Pedro just happens to be a top notch armourer, he made this for me. Now it is up to me to add the decoration to make it look just like the original [see bottom photo. For those keeping score at home this is Vendel 12, so called because it as pulled out of grave number 12 at the huge pre-viking graveyard at Vendel, Sweden. Over the next few months I will be sculpting the helm furniture for Vendel 12, then starting the furniture for Valsgarde 8, the Helm that Pedro wants for himself. Vendel 12 will eventually get a full camail of mail that wraps around the front of the helm to cover the face as well. Stay tuned, I’ll be posting shots of the helm furniture as I go along.

Sorry, I can’t give out any details until the agreement is final, and it isn’t yet. I’ll post as soon as I can with the full scoop.

Well, it’s a big deal to me anyway. If anyone reads this site it might matter to them too. Stay tuned. The announcement will come in the next couple of days.
