I have been working on this one for a while, off and on, and finally got him finished. As you can see, he is a hammerhead shark – specifically a Great Hammerhead [Sphyrna Mokarran]. From nose to tail tip, he is 75 mm long, so at 30 mm = 6 feet, that would make him about 13.5 scale feet long, so quite a large shark, but not the biggest Great Hammerhead on record [20 feet, according to that most accurate and illustrious source Wikipedia].
I may end up sculpting some more sharks of different sorts. Some probably using this guy as a base to save time. There are several species that are in the same size range and with similar body type that I could do quickly by changing head, fins and a few other minor details. So if he sells well that could all happen.
The base is 24 mm tall and features a fair selection of coral and other marine life. Look for the large octopus under the rock, as well as a moray eel eying up a tentacle.
Armorcast bought this sculpt, so you should see it in their store [not the Baelor Store] in coming weeks. I’ll post a link to it from here.
